Is Shaadify free?
Yes, Shaadify is free to start. Sign up with your email, build your wedding website, add your events and guests, send WhatsApp invites and collect RSVPs at no cost. There is no card required to create or publish your site.
What will my wedding website address be?
Every couple gets their own address on shaadify.org, for example priya-rahul.shaadify.org. You choose the name when you create the site, and it is ready to share the moment you publish. Custom domains are not offered yet.
Do my guests need to install an app or create an account?
No. Guests open their personalised invite link straight from WhatsApp (or any browser), see the wedding site and RSVP in a few taps. There is nothing to download and no sign-up for guests.
Can I have separate pages for the mehendi, sangeet, haldi, ceremony and reception?
Yes, Shaadify is multi-event by default. Add as many events as you like (mehendi, haldi, sangeet, wedding ceremony, reception or anything custom), each with its own date, time, venue, map link and dress notes, and guests RSVP to each event separately.
How do WhatsApp invites work?
From the Guests tab you add each guest (or family) and tap “Invite on WhatsApp”. Shaadify opens WhatsApp with a ready-made message and the guest’s personalised link. The link unfurls as a share card showing your names, date and city, and opens the site with their RSVP form pre-filled.
Can I invite some guests to only certain events?
Yes. Event-scoped invites let you create an invite that covers just the reception (or any set of events) and share it with specific guests. The invite message, the share card and the site they open all name only those events.
What can guests tell us in their RSVP?
For each event a guest can say yes, no or maybe, add the number of plus-ones, pick a meal preference, add meal notes and leave a message for you. Guests can reopen their link later to update their response.
Can I see and export my guest list and RSVPs?
Yes. The dashboard shows every guest and their response per event, with counts of who is coming, and the RSVPs tab exports the full list as a CSV you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, handy for caterers and venue headcounts.
Can I change my website after it is published?
Yes, as often as you like. The editor is live on the real page: click any heading, paragraph or photo to change it, hide sections you do not need, adjust photos to fit, and save. Published sites refresh within about a minute.
Which themes are available, and can I change the colours?
There are three launch themes: Royal (Rajasthani and Mughal motifs in maroon and gold), Modern Minimalist (neutrals and whitespace) and South Indian Classic (temple gold and kanjivaram patterns). Each theme has palette options so you can pick the colours that match your wedding.
Can I password-protect my wedding website?
Not yet. Your site is public at its own address, which is what lets guests open it in one tap from WhatsApp without logging in. Per-guest RSVP links are private to each guest and are never listed anywhere.
