Wedding reception invitation messages
The reception usually has the longest guest list: colleagues, neighbours, the wider circle who may not attend the ceremony. Its invitation is therefore the one most often sent on its own, and it must stand alone: names, date, time, venue, and a clear, easy RSVP.

Tips for this message
- For reception-only guests, say so gently and positively: it avoids awkward “am I invited to the wedding?” questions.
- Give a precise arrival window (e.g. “7 pm onwards, dinner from 8”): receptions run long and guests plan around dinner.
