South Indian Classic: temple gold and kanjivaram patterns
South Indian Classic is built around the look of a silk saree and a temple doorway: an ivory veil over the hero photograph so maroon names stay legible, a centred “Karthik weds Ananya” lockup, kanjivaram-inspired border patterns, and gold accents that read as temple rather than bling.
It fits Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayali weddings (a morning muhurtham, a reception the evening before, a sadya) and any couple who wants tradition expressed quietly.
The look
- Centred hero with an ivory veil and “X weds Y” in a maroon serif with an italic accent
- Kanjivaram-style woven border patterns between sections
- Maroon & Gold by default; Emerald & Champagne suits it too
- Rounded event cards and pill buttons
- Lotus/spa glyph above the names

Questions about themes
Can I change the colours of the theme?
Yes. Every theme takes one of the curated palettes (Maroon & Gold, Navy & Rose, Sage & Cream, Emerald & Champagne, Blush & Brass, Ink & Gold): pick it in the editor and the whole site recolours. Layout and typography stay the theme’s.
Can I switch themes later without losing content?
Yes. Themes are layouts over the same content: your events, story, photos and guests carry over when you switch.
Can I hide sections I don’t need?
Yes. In the editor, hover any section and hide it; hidden sections don’t render on the public site and you can show them again any time.
Is the theme mobile-friendly?
All three themes are built mobile-first: most guests open the site inside WhatsApp on a phone, so that is the layout we design for first.
